    LOVE IS A DECISION..IT IS NOT A FEELING.
    WHEN YOU WANT TO MARRY.. DO NOT MARRY FOR THE “BENEFIT” BUT MARRY FOR THE  “PURPOSE” OF MARRIAGE. JUST AS MAKING HEAVEN IS NOT THE PURPOSE OF SALVATION FROM SIN, BUT RATHER THE BENEFIT.
    THE PURPOSE OF SALVATION IS TO WORSHIP GOD AND SERVE HIM.
    THE FAMILY IS THE SMALLEST UNIT OF THE CHURCH. 
    YOU DO NOT MARRY TO OVERCOME LONELINESS…BECAUSE YOU CAN STILL MARRY AND BE LONELINESS.
    IN YOUR MARRIAGE, IF YOU ARE NOT USEFUL TO GOD.. THEN YOU ARE NOT FRUITFUL.
    ANYONE WHO COMES IN CONTACT WITH YOUR FAMILY MUST CONTACT GOD.
    IN MARRIAGE THERE MUST BE SACRIFICE.. YOU MUST PART SOMETHING DEAR TO YOU.
    YOU DON’T FEEL MARRIAGE, YOU ARE NOT MARRIED UNTIL YOU ARE MARRIED.
    DON’T PLAY MARRIAGE…IT IS A COVENANT.
    FOR THE SINGLE LADIES, FIND OUT WHY MALES ARE AROUND YOU. LET THEM DEFINE THEIR PURPOSE IN YOUR LIFE.
    REMEMBER LOVE IS NOT SEX AND SEX IS NOT LOVE.
    IF SEX IS LOVE, THEN THE HARLOTS WILL HAVE THOUSANDS (1000s) OF LOVERS. IN ANY RELATIONSHIP, GIVE ONLY WHAT YOU CAN IGNORE WHEN THAT RELATIONSHIP ENDS.  ROMANTIC LOVE BRINGS YOU TOGETHER BUT TRUE LOVE KEEPS YOU TOGETHER. 
    LOVE IS A DECISION. YOU DON’T LOVE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY ARE GOOD BUT BECAUSE YOU HAVE A MANDATE. 
    NAKEDNESS BEFORE YOUR SPOUSE MEANS YOU HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE. DON’T MARRY UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND HAVE A FAMILY INDEPENDENT OF YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER. 
    WHATEVER YOU ARE AND HAVE, YOU MUST PLEDGE TO EACH OTHER IN MARRIAGE. DON’T FALL FOR EVERY ACT OF LOVE.. SOME ARE FALSE. WHATEVER YOU SAW IN HER THAT MADE YOU MARRY HER, KEEP SEEING IT SO YOU CAN KEEP YOUR HOME. 
    DON’T COMPARE YOUR FAMILY WITH OTHERS NOR SHOULD YOU COMPARE YOUR SPOUSE TO ANOTHER. PRACTISE WHAT WILL WORK FOR YOU IN YOUR HOME. 
    MARRIAGE MAKES NO ONE HAPPY, RATHER IT IS PEOPLE THAT MAKE MARRIAGE HAPPY. LEARN TO ALWAYS MANAGE AND RESOLVE CONFLICTS IN MARRIAGE.

  • HEALTH: How To Keep Your Kidneys Healthy.

    Our kidneys plays a vital role in excreting drugs and toxins in the body but sometimes sheer numbers can be overwhelming and they need some help from us. You may need to undergo some detoxing therapy and you certainly need to be constantly on guard against the many drugs and other toxins that can actually harm your kidneys. kidney disease risk factors nclude :diabetes,high blood pressure,obesity,smoking and age. Early detection and treatment can increase the life of the kidneys
     
    Here are some few tips to help keep your kidneys healthy.  

    1.   Eat alot of fresh fruits and vegetables particularly the leather or fibre together with grass fed beef and free range chicken and eggs.

    2.   Delaying going to toilet, keeping your urine in your bladder for too long is a bad idea. a full bladder can cause bladder damage.The urine that stays in the bladder multiplies bacteria quickly. once the urine refluxes back to the ureter and kidneys, the toxins substances can results in kidney infection, then urinary tract infections and then nephritis and even uremia. When nature calls, do it as soon as possible.
    3.   Try to drink only water instead of other drinks. Our kidneys should be hydrated properly to perform their functions well. If we don’t drink enough water, the toxins may start accumulating in the blood, as there isn’t  enough fluid to drain them through the kidneys. Drink more than 10 glasses of water daily. There is an easy way to check if you are drinking enough water. Look at the colour of your urine,the lighter the colour, the better.
    4.   Do things that will help you relax and reduce your stress level.
    5.   Drinking too much caffeine is a component of many sodas and soft drink. It raises your blood pressure and your kidneys start suffering. so, you should cut down the amount of coke you drink daily.
    6.   Treat your health problems properly and have your health checked regularly.
    7.   Maintain a health weight and of course, this will be more easily achieved through the other life style changes that you make.
    8.   Eating too much meat and too much protein in your diet is harmful for your kidneys. Protein digestion produces ammonia- a toxin that is very destructive to your kidney. More meat equals more kidney damage.
    9.  Excess salt in your diet is harmful to the kidneys. you should not consume more than 5.8 grams of salt daily.
    10.  Stay fit by at least 30 minutes of physical activity that increases your heart rate on five or more days of the week.
    Remember that avoiding all toxins, taking regular exercise along with a balanced diet and drinking plenty of water will help to keep your kidneys working well and in peak condition.

    A smile is a facial expression that involves the flexing of muscles on the both side of the mouth and often involves the eye socket.
    It is a medium of communication that usually tells a story especially of happiness, pleasure or amusement.
    Smile is a natural response that is deeply contagious and keeps others happy. Try smiling at someone now and get one hell of a smile in return. It also makes you feel good and sure keeps you out of a bad mood.
    A smile can bring up laughter, no one ever laughed without first giving a smile and this can turn to a mini work out where calories are burnt .
     
    Research shows that laughter helps blood flow, lowers blood sugar levels, reduces stress and improves sleep. It also raise the level of disease fighting antibodies in the body which boost immune system.
    Smile improves your appearance and keeps you attractive. It’s been observed  that people usually look their best when they wear a smile. American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,  reveals that ”96 percent of American adults believe an attractive smile makes a person more appealing to members of the opposite sex”. Give that lady a smile to win her heart #winks#.
      
    More so,  smiling helps take care of stress. Smile has been known for reducing symptoms associated with anxiety. 
    Jennifer Walters proffers that, 
    ”Reducing stress is so important for health, too, as it can lower blood pressure, improve digestion and regulate blood sugar”.
     
    One beautiful thing about a smile is that it keeps you happy. In any challenging situation, a smile would make you feel a lot better to think and act wisely.
    Go ahead! smile now…….how do you feel?

    Rose Byrne is confirmed to reprise her role as Moira MacTaggert from X-Men: First Class in next year’s X-Men: Apocalypse.

    “She’s a significant character in the movie,” “Apocalypse” writer Simon Kinberg told EW of the threequel. “We ended ‘First Class’ with Charles having wiped portions of her memory of her xperience with the X-Men. They are, essentially, strangers to her when she meets them.”

    Information they say is the greatest asset an individual can acquire, for it is very good for him/her and equips to be very relevant to others who then may be the recipients of the information already gotten.

    But, do not be ignorant of the adage prominent among the Efiks of Cross River State of Nigeria, that, no individual should boast he/she is not blind until he/she dies, because, blindness is prone to attack any person living and at any time. But with adequate information on some ailments that afflicts humankind, one can be rest assured to be equipped to prevent such ailment from afflicting him. No knowledge is wasted friend.

    Mental disorder is usually connected with the happenings in the mind involving the process of thinking or connected with the state of the health of the mind. Mental disorders afflict people in every part of the world and impact on the lives of their loved ones, because they care for the afflicted ones.

    According to WHO, ‘One in four people will be affected by mental disorder at some point in their lives. Depression is the single largest contributor to this worldwide disability. Schizophrenia and bipolar disorders. Although huge numbers of people are affected, mental disorders remain hidden, neglected and discriminated against’.

    According to WHO, many people with mental illness refrain from seeking treatment because of the stigma associated with it. Mental illness experts say is a mental disorder which is a significant dysfunction in a person’s thinking, emotional control, and behaviour. This condition often disrupts a person’s ability to relate to others and to deal with the demands of life.

    The severity of symptoms can vary in length and intensity, depending on the individual and the particular ailment and circumstances. It can affect people of any gender, age, culture, race, religion, educational and income level. Mental health disorders are not the result of personal weakness or a character flaw.

    Through appropriate medical care, individuals can be treated and can lead a productive and fulfilling life. Mental health professionals can treat many mental health disorders successfully. The first crucial step then is obtain thorough assessment from a competent health professional who is experienced in treating mental conditions.
