  • LIFESTYLE: 10 Warning Signs That You Are Simply Wasting Your Time On Him

    Some men have a knack of reeling in a girl and keeping her captivated, even when they have absolutely no intention of taking the relationship seriously. Don’t get caught by the charm offensive and don’t hang around, when a relationship is going nowhere. Read these ten signs that you really are wasting your time on him.
    1. When you look real hard, you don’t actually know that much about him
    A sign that the relationship is only a superficial one is when you realise that you actually know very little about the guy. It could be that you are so besotted with him that you haven’t even bothered to ask any questions, or that he is hiding things from you. Either way, if you have been with a guy for a while, you should know something about his past, his likes and his dislikes and where he hangs out when he’s not with you.
    2. You keep running out of things to talk about
    If the relationship isn’t going to last, then you have probably already run out things to talk about. In a healthy, long lasting relationship, you can chat away to each other all day long and there will never be any awkward silences.
    3. You never seem to go out on dates
    A relationship won’t go the distance, if you never do fun things together. Most people want more than a night in with a TV dinner, so if you never go out to places, just the two of you together, then you could well be wasting your time with this one.
    4. You haven’t been introduced to his friends, or his family
    If a guy has any intentions of making this a serious relationship, then he is at least going to have to introduce you to his parents. If you have no idea who his friends are and if you haven’t yet met the parents, then perhaps he doesn’t see you as becoming a permanent fixture after all.
    5. You feel like you are playacting for his benefit
    If you don’t feel comfortable enough to be yourself around him, then something is not right with the relationship. Everyone puts on good show when they first meet someone new, but after that, you should both be able to relax in each other’s company and not feel any need to pretend, for his benefit.
    6. You do not agree on fundamental issues
    If you strongly disagree with each other on fundamental things like religion, morals or politics, then that could be a recipe for a future disaster. You might be able to bite your tongue at first, but will you be able to do that forever?
    7. You are doing all the running
    Are you the one that initiates everything? If you have to push the relationship along and you are the one that has to suggest meeting ups or going on a date, then that doesn’t show a lot of enthusiasm for the relationship on his part. It could be that he simply doesn’t have the courage to tell you that he wants to end it and then, you really will be wasting your time.
    8. He still sees his ex
    Being polite and civil to your ex is one thing, but if your guy seems to run round to help his ex, at the drop of a hat, then you are wasting your time with him. This is a guy who is not over his ex at all and he would go running back to her, in an instant if he could.
    9. You are not a priority
    If a relationship is going to be a good one, then you both need to get your priorities right. Everyone has the right to a life outside of the relationship, but you should still be his first priority. If you don’t feel that you are his priority, then, perhaps he’s not taking you seriously enough for this to be a lasting relationship.
    10. It just doesn’t feel right
    The biggest indication of all will be your gut feeling about the guy. Don’t hide from your instinct and convince yourself that things will get better, because if your heart is telling you that something is wrong, then it probably is

  • NEWS: US, UK Govt release joint statement. Say there are signs of political interference in collation of results

    The US and UK government have released a joint statement appraising last Saturday’s general elections. According to the statement posted on UK’s Foreign affairs website here, both government said the elections have largely been peaceful but that there are disturbing indications of political interference in the collation of results. The statement below… 

    Our governments welcome the largely peaceful vote on 28 March. The Nigerian people have shown a commendable determination to register their vote and choose their leaders. So far, we have seen no evidence of systemic manipulation of the process. But there are disturbing indications that the collation process – where the votes are finally counted – may be subject to deliberate political interference.
    This would contravene the letter and spirit of the Abuja Accord, to which both major parties committed themselves. The Governments of the United States and the United Kingdom would be very concerned by any attempts to undermine the independence of the Electoral Commission (INEC), or its Chairman, Prof Jega; or in any way distort the expressed will of the Nigerian people.

  • NEWS: Presidential election results so far!





    INEC has announced results for 8 states and the FCT, Abuja – (total 9) and so far PDP is leading with 2,322,734 votes while APC has 2,302,978 votes, though APC won five states and PDP four states. 

    The commission has reconvened till 8pm tonight to allow sufficient time for other states to bring in their results. We are still expecting results for 27 states. We will continue by 8pm. Stay tuned!

  • HEALTH : An Outbreak Of Disease In Town Found In Ice Cream.

    States and local health officials, CDC, and the US. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are collaborating to investigate an Outbreak of Listeria Monocytogenes Infections (Listeriosis) linked to certain Blue Bell brand Ice Cream product.           
        Listeriosis is a life threatening infection caused by eating food conterminted with the bacterium (germ)  Listeria Monocytogenes. Five infected with one of four strains of Listeria Monocytogenes were reported from Kansas. 
       All five people were hospitalized at the same hospital for unrelated problems before developing invasive Listeriosis – a finding that strongly suggest their infections acquired in the hospital. 
     Three death were reported among these five patients of the four ill people for whom information is available on the food eaten in the month before Listeria infection, all four consumed milkshakes made with a single – service Blue Bell brand ice cream product called “scoops”  while they were in the hospital. 
       The Kansas Department of Agriculture(KDA)  laboratory isolated Listeria Monocytogenes from a Previously unopened single serving Blue Bell brand 3oz. Institutional /food service chocolate ice cream cup obtained in March 2015 from the hospital associated with this Outbreak. 
       On March 23, 2015, Blue Bell ice cream of Brenham, Texas, announced a recall of 3oz.institutional /food service ice cream cup (with tab lids) of the following flavors: chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. 
      CDC recommends that consumers do not eat recalled products and that institutions and retailers do not sell or serve them. Investigation into whether other products were produced on the same line as the 3oz.institutional /food service ice cream cups is ongoing, and new information will be provided as it becomes available. Blue Bell creameries reported that these products were removed from the market in March 2015. However, conterminated ice cream product may still be in the freezers of consumers, institutions, and retailers. 
       CDC recommends that consumers do not eat any products that Blue Bell creameries recalled or removed from the market.  This investigation is ongoing, and new information will be provided as it becomes available.

    An 80-year-old woman known as the ‘Gang Bang Queen’ has revealed she has slept with more than 1,000 men and starred in a number of porn films.

The woman on the left is 92-year-old great-granny named Marge The outgoing octogenarian, who lives in Oroville California, even has a tattoo around her nipple that reads ‘Gang Bang Queen’ and launched a career in blue movies seven years ago.


    She said: “I made all of the videos at home. And I started posting them online and I just got rave reviews.
    “I just felt like a princess.”
    Her biggest role was taking part in a filmed orgy involved fifteen much-younger men.

    Among Shirley’s numerous fans is Kyle Jones, a 31-year-old lothario with a penchant for pensioners.
    Together they make amateur films and canoodle in public in broad daylight like loved-up teenagers.
    But Shirley, who has been married several times before, is not ready to settle down and currently has five guys under 30 on the go.
    She said: “I have had numerous proposals in the last five years. But none of them were with anyone I would want to spend the rest of my life with.

    Kyle’s little black book of women appears on a one-off Channel 5 special called Nanna Love: 50 Shades of Grey about young men who prefer mature women to girls their own age.
    Out of all of Kyle’s mature lovers, wild Shirley is his favourite.
    The pair met on the Internet and live 2,000 miles apart – which means they rarely get to spend time together.
    But when they do, their dates do not consist of an elegant dinner and a movie.
    The pair cannot keep their hands off each other, and even get intimate during an afternoon stroll in a local park.

    However, while Shirley is content with playing the field, Kyle may be considering his future with his favourite senior citizen.
    He said: “Shirley knows that I would have problem being with just one woman and I know that Shirley will have a problem with just one guy.
    “And even though I’m with other women, I don’t know if I’ll be okay with it with her.


    “Let’s say at some point where I decide I’m just really super in love and I only want her, then it might mess with my head at some point that she was with someone else.”
    Despite Shirley’s unusual bedroom activities, the randy retiree enjoys much of the same hobbies as her friends.

    She said: “I currently live in a senior complex. I love to knit – I’m always knitting, crochet as well. I make a lot of gifts that way.
    “Plus it keeps me busy and out of trouble. It seems to be my middle name – trouble.”

  • BREAKING NEWS: PDP Floors LP On Cross River Senatorial Slot!

    Unconfirmed reports in Cross River State capital, Calabar, suggest very strongly that the National Assembly candidates of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), namely Mr. Gershom Bassey and Rt. Hon. Essien Ayi, who are respectively vying for the Senate and House of Representatives slots of the state, have defeated the Labour Party (LP) candidates, to wit, Senator Bassey Edit Otu and Rt. Hon. Dominic Aqua Edem.

    While INEC is yet to announce results, but until evening of today, Monday 30 March, it has been rumoured by some that sequel to casting of votes by the electorates on Saturday 28 March, INEC was understood to conduct a sham vote at Idundu village, in Akpabuyo L.G.A, a remote dead end of the state.

    Besides, there have been reports of the Governor ,  His Excellency Senator Liyel Imoke intimidating INEC officials, which stand to reason then that the election will not be free and fair.
