Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot is reportedly being considered as a replacement for Kieran Trippier at Atletico Madrid this month.
Trippier swapped the Spanish capital for Newcastle recently in a £12million move and Atletico boss Diego Simeone is keen to strengthen.
According to Diario AS, Dalot is one of Simeone’s targets as he believes the Portuguese defender can play both right back and left back.

Dalot, who has also been on Jose Mourinho’s radar at Roma, has worked his way back into United’s team under Ralf Rangnick and as such has put himself back in the shop window.
Rangnick has shown a preference to select Dalot ahead of Aaron Wan-Bissaka but it remains to be seen if an offer would tempt them to cash in on the Portugal international.
The Portuguese spent last season out on loan at AC Milan and impressed scouts in Italy with his displays at the San Siro.

But Sportsmail revealed this week that United have a strong interest in Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey in their search for a new right back at Old Trafford.
Ralf Rangnick wants an upgrade on Wan-Bissaka and Dalot and United have identified Lamptey as being able to play in a back-four or as wing-back.
United value the 21-year-old at £30million though Brighton will be looking at closer to £40m.
Dalot is believed to be not the only man on Atletico’s radar, though.
Simeone, who was left exasperated at his side after a Super Cup semi-final loss to Athletic Bilbao on Thursday, is said to be interested in RB Leipzig’s Rasmus Christensen, Valencia’s Daniel Wass and Juventus’ Mattia De Sciglio.
