We are seeking a experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Packing plant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining mechanical systems, equipment, and processes to ensure efficient and reliable operation of the Packing plant.
Responsibilities
Ensure implementation of QMS, EMS, OHSAS and management systems adopted by DCP-Ibese.
Prepare PM schedule and implementation.
Planning and execution of preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities of all Packing Plant equipment’s as per schedules.
Keep record of all related maintenance activities in SAP and manual registers.
Work with maintenance team to accomplish given tasks within the stipulated time.
Do a quality maintenance on Roto packers and loading machines to achieve mean time between failure to + /- 7 days.
Execute all related maintenance works under safe working condition by following safety procedures and SOP of the organization.
Spare plan and control as per budgeted value of the organization.
Requirements
BSc. /HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in a packing plant or similar industry
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, packaging machinery, and material handling equipment
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
