QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years experience in shipping with export experience preferrably in Seafreight
- Road freight experience an advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Typing CTO’s ( order to cash – Transnet)
2. Typing of EUR.1 Certificates, GSP Form A, Certificate of Origin, SADC certificates (Preparation of Country Required Certificates. )
3. Typing bill of lading, shipping instructions (on MS Word, MS Excel, and WEB) (E-mail or submit online the above documents to the various shipping lines)
4. Checking of Bills of Lading and Specifications and printing of these documents.
5. Processing of Cargo Dues
6. Assist the Client Controller with claims (Manifest correctors, cargo dues) and/or queries in relation to shipment files handled.
7. Will be required to take on Adhoc shipments which will include adhering to Export shipment process requirements. (handling a shipment from start to finish)
8. Tracking of Export shipments
Skills & Competencies:
KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of export procedures (hazardous and general cargo)
- Cargowise and OTC (order to cash – Transnet)
- Knowledge of Export Cargo handling and required documentation for hazardous and non-hazardous carg.
