Arsenal England youth international March fixtures & results
With the international break now underway, many of Arsenal’s England youth internationals were in action on Wednesday, to good effect.
The England u17s, u18s, u19s, and u20s were all in action on Wednesday, with every Arsenal player to receive a call-up for the four sides featuring in one of the four matches.
At the u17 level, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly both started against Denmark in a 3-1 win, with Nwaneri scoring twice and assisting the other England goal.
In the u18s, Lino Sousa came on as a substitute as England won 2-1 against Croatia, with all three goals being scored in a three-minute period not long after Sousa had entered the pitch.
The England u19s gave a start to Reuell Walters in defence against Hungary, as they managed a narrow 1-0 win. Amario Cozier-Duberry came off the bench in the latter stages of the match.
Finally, the England u20s won 2-0 against Germany, with Brooke Norton-Cuffy playing 88 minutes of the contest.
The u17s and u19s were both playing qualifiers for the UEFA European Championships later this year, so the early wins were certainly welcome.
Emile Smith Rowe and the England u21s will take to the pitch later this week, facing France in their first game on Saturday.

- England u19s 1-0 Hungary – Walters played 90 minutes and helped England to keep a clean sheet, with Cozier-Duberry coming on as a substitute for 13 minutes. Report
