The Telegraph report that Arsenal are considering a move for Raphinha. They’re yet to make a formal offer and would face strong competition for the signing, but he’s on their summer shortlist.
Goal confirm Arsenal’s interest, claiming Raphinha is indeed on the Gunners’ list of targets this summer. But again, Goal report that Arsenal haven’t held any official talks with Leeds United yet.
Earlier in the year, Fabrizio Romano reported that Arsenal had made preliminary enquiries over Raphinha.
Raphinha is yet another left-footed right-winger, which does make it difficult to see how he fits into the current squad.
Both The Telegraph and Goal suggest a potential move would be linked to Nicolas Pepe’s departure, as Raphinha isn’t expected to replace Bukayo Saka.
If Pepe leaves, then it seems Arsenal would move for Raphinha as a replacement. If the Ivory Coast international sticks around, it’s hard to see Raphinha’s transfer to North London gaining any momentum.

There’s no doubt that Raphinha put in some excellent performances for Leeds over the last Premier League campaign and would make a great addition to the Arsenal squad. He scored 11 goals and assisted three in 35 games as Leeds battled relegation.
The only reservations would be over the fact Raphinha plays in the same position as Arsenal’s two-time Player of the Season – Saka.
Mikel Arteta’s side has plenty of positions in need of an upgrade before looking at the right-wing.
