And now, United scouts are closely monitoring another South American talent who could be the next to arrive in Manchester.
Ian Subiabre new wonderkid on Manchester United radar
The latest player being tracked is Ian Subiabre, an 18-year-old winger currently playing for River Plate in Argentina.
Subiabre has made 11 senior appearances and is gaining a strong reputation in his home country as a technically gifted wide player.
According to Daily Mail’s report, United are joined by Arsenal in keeping tabs on the teenager’s progress.
Initial interest in the attacker was reported on CentreDevils earlier last week.
His current contract with River Plate runs until June 2026, meaning any approach would need to be carefully timed.
At this stage, interest remains early and informal, with United still gathering reports before making a final decision.
If Subiabre continues his development, he could follow in the footsteps of Garnacho by making the jump from Argentina to Old Trafford.
