The Arc World Tour Finals are upon us and will be played out throughout the latter half of this week. They’re taking place in Long Beach, California, U.S.A.
The players qualified for the final brackets are TSM|Leffen, FLY|TempestNYC, PAR|Daru, Tako, BC|Jonathan Tene, Fitizen, PepperySplash, Zando, IBSG|Leo, Solo|Verix, MR|Umisho, Gobou, TM|Slash, Sonic-san, NBNHMR, ONi|TigerPop, IBSG|Tyurara, Xerom, Zippy and Fukunaga, though there will also be Last Chance Qualifiers for the main games.
The main titles this year are Guilty Gear Strive and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. Guilty Gear Strive will have 16 players divided up into 4 Round Robin groups from which the top 2 players in each group will advance to a final bracket. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, on the other hand, has a standard 8-person double elimination bracket. Both games have two spots to be filled via Last Chance Qualifier brackets.
There will also be an open bracket competition for Under Night In-Birth II: Sys[celes] which is being played out during the first day of the competition. Contrary to most tournaments which run until Sunday, this event is running Thursday through Saturday, so adjust your schedules accordingly if you’re looking to catch the action.
Prize pools sit at $100,000 for Guilty Gear Strive, $30,000 for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising and $10,000 for Under Night In-Birth II: Sys[celes].
