Approximately, 50% Hondurans Are Willing To Migrate, Alarming as COVID Coould rise

A new report finds that Central Americans’ desire to flee their nations remains intact as a new migrant group of 5,000 people heads north from the Mexico-Guatemala border this week.

According to a poll published last week by the World Justice Project, at least one out of every five residents in the region wants to actually leave nations with limited financial possibilities and high crime levels and corruption.

According to the research, over half of Hondurans (49%) desire to move to another country, with 18% planning to do so within the next year. El Salvador has a similar level of concern, with 39 percent planning to migrate in the future and 9 percent willing to do so this year. In Guatemala, 29% of the populace expressed a wish to relocate, and 7% claimed they also were making plans to do so.
