Appointees in CRS Mobilizes N20,000 each to welcome Governor Ayade at Calabar Airport

Cross River State Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade has been away for a some days now and rumours has it that he’s been in Abuja all this while. According to this writer, he’s is set to return back to Calabar after an uneventful outing in Abuja that saw the PDP lawyer representing him issued a statement of denying the Governor in Supreme Court.

Ifere Paul said, Governor Ben Ayade who has been running around from one pillar to the next, is finally set to return back to the State, breaking his promise that he will not return back til December 9th.

However, the Governor’s appointees has taxed themselves 20 thousand naira (N20,000) each to be able to sponsor 50 people from each council ward to Calabar to welcome the governor.

According to reliable information available, the people so sponsored will receive 5 thousand naira (N5,000) only.

Plans are already in top gear to organise a support rally by the National Youth Council which will also be at the airport to welcome the governor. A press statement issued by Christian Ita has directed that all appointees must be at the airport to welcome the governor tomorrow, the 7th of October, 2016.
