In a resounding display of solidarity and admiration, seven local government Chapter Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the southern senatorial district of Cross River State converged at the Commissioner for Local Government Affairs’ office, extolling his exemplary leadership and visionary initiatives.
The Chapter Chairmen, representing diverse local governments within the district, ranging from Calabar Municipality, Calabar South, Odukpani, Bakasssi, Akpabuyo, Biase and Akamkpa, presented a united front in their praise of Chief Victor Felix Idem’s groundbreaking achievements, which have significantly enhanced the lives of constituents. His innovative approaches to local governance, commitment to grassroots development, and dedication to the party’s ideals have earned him widespread acclaim.
Mr Gerald Esin, the Chapter Chairman of Bakassi gave a speech on behalf of all the Chairmen, explaining that they are all delighted about the Commisioner’s outstanding performance which has been a beacon of hope for their various local governments. He furthermore highlighted that his transformative leadership has yielded tangible results, and they are proud and ever ready to support him in his endeavors.

In response, the Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Chief Victor Felix Idem expressed his profound gratitude for the chairmen’s endorsement, pledging to continue working assiduously to address the local government’s pressing needs.
“I am deeply humbled by this demonstration of unity and support,” he said, “together, we shall forge ahead, driven by our shared vision for a more prosperous and harmonious Cross River state.”
