Arodiogbu, announced that the governorship and senatorial elections were dear to the hearts of APC leaders both in Southeast and the national, adding that APC will leave no stone unturned in winning them.
He maintained that the current Governor of APGA extraction was not endorsed by President Bola Tinubu when he visited Anambra state to honour Chief Emeka Anyaoku as was being speculated, adding that it was only what the state government wanted to achieve.
According to the Southeast leader, “ADC coalition can not stand. Those in that coalition are the real problems of the country today. They are the political buccaneers in this country.
“Anybody following one of our brothers who has joined them in such coalition is wasting his or her time because he is not the type of politician to be followed by anyone.
“The current Governor in Anambra state has become so unpopular to the churches, to the traditional institutions, to the market women, traditionalists among others, therefore, he stands no chance in the election.
“Mr President did not endorse him when he came to Anambra state on the invitation of Chief Emeka Anayaoku, who, Mr President has tremendous respect for. What they called endorsement was only a photo opportunity,” Dr Arodiogbu said.
Also speaking, the state chairman of the party, Chief Basil Ejidike, hailed President Tinubu’s leadership qualities, while employing the Southeast leader, Arodiogbu to draw the attention of the national leadership of APC on the elections coming up in Anambra state.
He enjoined everyone to participate actively for the growth and sustenance of APC in the state, describing the House of Assembly and the senatorial elections as a litmus test for APC and a lead way to the governorship of November 8 election.
