The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced new dates for the previously postponed Rivers State congresses.
The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, made the disclosure in a statement on Thursday.
Morka said the new scheduled date includes; the Ward Congress—Saturday, November 16, 2024, the Local Government Area Congress— Saturday, November 23, 2024 and the State Congress—Saturday, November 30, 2024
According to him, the decision was made during the National Working Committee (NWC) meeting held on Wednesday at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
“The decision was reached at the meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) held on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
“Other schedule of activities related to the congresses will be announced in due course,” Morka said.
THE WHISTLER reported that the APC had postponed the congresses initially slated for October 26 and November 9, 2024.
