Toby Collyer will be out for ‘roughly a month’ with an unspecified injury, accoring to Manchester Evening News.
The Under-21s star has broken through to United’s first team this season, making two appearances under Erik ten Hag.
Many expected him to be involved in Wednesday’s game against Leicester, but it can be revealed that he has battled an injury for a week.
He was forced to miss United’s game against West Ham after picking up the issue in a training session prior to the affair.
Collyer made his debut for the senior team in a tough 3-0 loss to Liverpool at the start of September.
He came on as a substitute for Casemiro, who put in a woeful first-half performance for the Reds.

Since then, he has played one game, starting at left back in United’s 7-0 League cup victory against Barnsley on September 17.
The 20-year-old has been on the bench seven times this season, mostly recently on October 3 against Porto in the Europa League.
By the time Toby Collyer returns from injury, he may be greeted by a new face at Carrington.
Ruben Amorim is expected to join United later this month, in time for their away game against Ipswich on November 24.
