Andalusia Health plans annual fair

Andalusia Health will sponsor its annual Health Fair on Saturday, August 3, in partnership with First Baptist Church in Andalusia, which is hosting the event.
The event, which will be held from 8 a.m. to noon, aims to promote health awareness, provide valuable resources to residents of all ages and free backpacks to the first 100 people in attendance. The First Baptist Church is located at 700 E Three Notch St.
The Health Fair will feature a variety of free health screenings, including blood pressure checks, diabetic foot checks, vaccination status checks, heart and lung sound checks, blood sugar, mental health, women’s services, sleep lab, pediatrics and many more. Local healthcare providers will be on site to offer consultations and any health-related questions.
In addition to medical services, the health fair will include, vendors such as, Lollilou’s Lemonade, Small Cakes, Firewagon Pizza, and a bouncy house for children.
“We are excited to host this event and provide our community with access to essential health services and information. Our goal is to support the well-being of our neighbors and encourage everyone to take proactive steps towards a healthier life,” Andalusia Health officials said.
“The First Baptist Church has a long-standing commitment to serving the community, and partnering with Andalusia Health to host the Health Fair, is just one of the many ways they strive to make a positive impact.
