The Anambra State Government is seeking partnership with real estate firms that is willing and ready to work collaboratively to actualized governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s vision of making Anambra a destination hub in Nigeria.
The State Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor, disclosed this while speaking at the second anniversary celebration of ReapFold Properties Limited tagged SUMESTA 2.0, held in Awka on Friday, December 12th, 2025.
He said the move is part of efforts by the present administration to create affordable housing for citizens, reduce housing deficit and making Anambra a destination hub.

He said the event was one of the processes where Anambra State Government is working on to reduce housing deficit and ensured every citizen had a home.
According to Mefor, the state government is seeking partnership with any developer that have passion for estate development and are financially capable to meet the term and conditions of the newly established Anambra Geographic Information Service (ANAMGIS).
ANAMGIS is a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to modernise land administration.
“ANAMGIS provides an automated land authentication and certification system, making it easier for the people of Anambra to access land services.
“This milestone signposts Governor Soludo’s pragmatic approach to innovation in his laudable performance in governance and ongoing infrastructural and transformation agenda in making Anambra a destination for the benefits of the people.
The Commissioner commended the ReapFold Properties Limited for their commitment in delivery a transparent housing development policy in Anambra State and beyond.
In his welcome address, the Group Managing Director of ReapFold Properties Limited, Dr Smart Nonso Okafor, applauded residents of Anambra, Delta and Enugu States for their huge patronage of the company.
He said the company within two years of existence was able to secured a peaceful and court-free ten estates in Anambra, Delta and Enugu States respectively where the company is currently operating at the moment.
