The children session of Saint Lawrence Chapel Mass Centre Awka, Anambra State, has held a prayer session for Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah of the All Progressive Congress (APC), ahead of the 2025 governorship election in the State,
The session took place on Sunday, at the Church premise during the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, His Lordship, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor’s Pastoral Visit to the Church.
The Children asked God to grand the Senator who is currently the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District all his desires.
“According to the children, Father, we thanked you for this wonderful day you have made. Father we thanked you for protecting everyone presently here. Father bless them and grand them their heart desires, especially, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.

“We pray that you blessed him and grand him all his heart desires and make him a better and most successful person. Be with him in Jesus name, Amen, the kids prayed.
In his response, Ubah who was the Chairman of the occasion, said he would run an inclusive government, if elected as the governor of Anambra State.
He said he would run the state with “fear of God” if elected.
Ubah added that he would be “a governor for all” regardless of Church denomination.
“As you are aware, as a Senator, I have done uncountable projects in Anambra South Senatorial District and other human capital development projects across the state. I have a very special relationship with Ndi-Anambra and by the grace of God, when elected as governor, I will focus attention on the needs of our people, particularly the erosion challenges currently threatening the state.
“I will be a governor that will govern Anambra state with the fear of God. I will run an all-inclusive government under the guidance of the Almighty God.
Ubah appealed to the Church to continue to pray for the peace and unity of the state.
The event, coordinated by the Chapel Administractor Rev. Father Paulinus Okonkwo, also witnessed the presence of Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, Senator Uche Ekwunife, her husband, Chief Sir Larry Ekwunife, Chief Emeka Eze, Catholic priests, APC women group, among others.
