In order to further deepen the solution message to more Anambra homes and communities ahead of the 2025 governorship election in the state, beneficiaries of the “One Youth Two Skills initiative” have organized and inaugurated the Solution Youth-Preneur Support Group, (SYPSG).
Executive members of the group who mainly comprised master trainers of the “One Youth Two Skills” Initiative were inaugurated at the Government House, Awka, on Friday, during a workshop titled, “Creating Better Business Environment Through Effective Participation in Politics”.
In his opening remarks, the State Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Agha Mba stressed that the “One Youth Two Skills initiative” is used as a veritable platform to serve as evidential testament to what the Governor has done, with the aim of empowering more Anambra youths in a sustainable manner.
Mr. Agha Mba revealed that the “One Youth Two Skills” Initiative is unprecedented in the history of the state and country, pointing out that today, most of the beneficiaries of the programme are expanding their businesses with their trainees breaking into more frontiers and expressed optimism that the SYPSG will help to ensure that the Solution Agenda is sustained beyond March, 2026.

The Commissioner for Industry, Mr. Christian Udechukwu who gave a lecture titled “Harnessing Opportunity for Business Growth and Sustainability”, advised the participants against underestimating the power of what they have at their disposal, stressing that in order for them not to miss opportunities, they must imbibe the mindset and know how to solve problems.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, represented by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Mobilization, Mr. Obiajulu Nwoye spoke on: “Politics and Governance: Why Entrepreneurs Must Get Involved in Politics”.
He asked participants to involve themselves in politics as a way of growing their businesses.
Earlier, while giving an overview of the policy framework of the group, the SYPSG State Coordinator, Prince Raph Ofojebe recalled the success stories recorded by the pilot phase of the one youth two skills initiative, explaining that as a result, the youths constituted themselves at the ward and local government levels to support the Governor’s vision for the state.
He noted that in the process, they hope to create a massive political structure that is community based and grassroot oriented as well as re-ignite the political consciousness of the youths for consolidation purposes.
In his closing remarks, the Managing Director of Anambra State Housing Development Corporation who is the Chairman Board of Trustees of SYPSG, Mr. Chike Anyaonu congratulated the Master Trainers and enjoined them to help propagate the message to their local government areas, assuring of giving support to expand the coast going forward.
