Amy Schumer can finally catch some z’s. She spilled the beans recently that she and her hubby, Chris Fisher, had to call in the pros. Why? Their 4-year-old son, Gene, was giving them sleepless nights.
“We’re finally SLEEPING again,” the 42-year-old comedian posted on Instagram on March 7. She added a black and white selfie of her and Chris for good measure.
Jessica from @awesomelittlesleepers was their savior. She helped them whip up a bedtime routine for their little one. Now, he’s hitting the sack 3 hours earlier than before. “We got our nights back! She seriously saved us,” Amy gushed.
And, no, she wasn’t plugging the company. Amy was just sharing the love, passing on the info that helped them reclaim their nights.
Amy’s been a mom since 2019, when she welcomed Gene into the world. She and Chris tied the knot a year earlier, in 2018. Since then, she’s been pretty candid about the rollercoaster ride that is motherhood.
“Being his mom is heaven on earth,” she confessed on Instagram in 2022. But it’s not all rainbows and butterflies. There’s also a “constant feeling of guilt and vulnerability” that she reckons she’ll never get used to.
