The Cross River State Commissioner for Quality Education, Dr. Godwin Amanke has lauded the National Unity and Peace Corps for their presence in all the Pilot Schools across the State.
Dr.Amanke made this remark during a courtesy visit on him by the State Commandant of National Unity and Peace Corps,Mr Nkanu Umang Ogban and his team.
The Commissioner maintained that during his last on-the-spot inspection of schools at the beginning of the term, the Peace Corps Members were seen carrying out their duties of maintaining law and order in the schools with high spirit of enthausiasm and dignity of labour,noting that this is made possible by the dogged leadership and administrative prowess
He thanked them for their timely visit,assuring that the Ministry will team up with the National Unity and Peace Corp for the over all interest of the students of Cross River State and promised them of the full support of the Ministry as regards the schools that were not complying with the welfare of the Peace Corp officers deployed to work in the different schools across the State..
In his remarks the State Commandant Mr, Nkanu Umang Ogban thanked the Commissioner for the warm reception accorded
them and pledged their unalloyed support towards the delivery of quality education in the State.
