Amad Diallo has been one of the shining lights in an otherwise abysmal season for Manchester United.
The young Ivorian has shown exceptional form under Ruben Amorim, providing a much-needed spark in a team struggling to find consistency.
Since arriving at Old Trafford, Diallo has had his ups and downs, but this season has marked a turning point.
The 22-year-old has contributed significantly, registering two goals and six assists under Amorim’s guidance.

While United sit in a disappointing 14th place in the league, Diallo’s performances have been a rare highlight.
His resurgence comes after a tough spell under Erik ten Hag, where he struggled for game time despite showing glimpses of promise.
The transformation has been credited to Amorim’s management style, with Diallo thriving under the Portuguese boss.
Speaking to SuperSport, Diallo shared his thoughts on the changes he’s experienced this season.

He revealed, “Maybe it’s confidence because now I’m playing a lot of games.
“Like I am now, I’ve been every time like this but maybe the game time and confidence.”
He continued, “I’m happy to play more games, and I want to fight for the club, for the team, every time the manager gives me the confidence and gives me the chance to play for this club, I just want to show I can play for this club.”
Diallo’s reflections appeared to hold an implicit critique of the previous regime, highlighting the lack of opportunities he had under Ten Hag.
He said, “My dream is to achieve a lot of things with this club, that’s why I’m here.
“I want to fight for this badge and let’s see what the future brings.”
Despite United’s overall struggles, Diallo’s impressive form has reportedly led to contract talks, with both parties eager to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
The former Atalanta winger’s resurgence has earned him praise from fans and pundits alike, with many seeing him as a cornerstone of United’s future.
In a subtle nod to his frustrations with the past, Diallo has proven that consistent opportunities and faith can unlock a player’s true potential.
