Mortal Kombat 1’s second main roster DLC character, Quan Chi, is now available for purchase by all users. Last week, those who own the Kombat Pack or bought the Premium Edition of the game were given early access to the new fighter, but now everyone everywhere has the opportunity to pick him up and play him.
With each new character in MK1 comes their own set of unlockable colors, gear items, finishers, taunts, and more. TQT has put together an excellent video compilation that runs through everything you can unlock for Quan Chi by raising his Mastery level, and we have it here for you now to enjoy.
As we learned with Omni-Man, the main roster DLC characters appear to have 20 ranks within their Mastery. This essentially means you’ll have to raise Quan Chi up by 20 levels through playing him in various modes.
When you’ve successfully done so, you can look forward to gaining access to new gear items, colors, Brutalities, and much more. In this video, TQT has put together a compilation of virtually everything you can get for Quan Chi, so if you’re wanting to see more of what this character has to offer before you purchase him, this is definitely the video for you.
We’re going to focus on showcasing Quan Chi’s unique gear items as well as his alternate color palettes. As far as gear goes, it looks as though the main aspect of this Mortal Kombat villain that changes is the tattoos and markings on his skin.
There are 10 different gear equips to choose from, and cycling through them we see that Quan Chi has several interesting designs that he can wear on his body. A couple of these options give him bright, golden markings that line his head and arms, while the latter gear slots give him a far more devilish look.
Quan Chi also has six different colors to choose from in MK1. These all strictly alter the color of his default costume, and we see a good variety of different palettes here.
There’s so much more to see for Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat 1, so be sure to check out TQT’s full video below to see all of this fighter’s Fatalities (including the seasonal ones), his Brutalities, taunts from different areas on screen, and more.
