The second and final week of Capcom Cup X is fully underway. Players and fans alike are attending the in-person event all week in order to compete, watch the exciting matches, and try out Street Fighter 6’s upcoming DLC character, Ed, ahead of his official release.
Among the folks that attended the event yesterday was Tyrant, who spent some time with the new character to see what all he’s got to offer. Providing an early preview of what we can expect to see when he launches, Tyrant grabbed footage of all of Ed’s colors for costumes 1 and 2 and shared them on Twitter for all to see.
Ed is currently available to try out on the Capcom Cup X showfloor for those who are in attendance. On top of being able to play Ed, show goers can try out the game’s new stage that is set to drop when Ed does, as well as experience some of the balance changes that are live in the show’s build.
Tyrant’s clip grabs footage of Ed at the character select screen, and we see that players there can select all of the colors that his costumes 1 and 2 come equipped with.
Ed’s default costume dresses him in an open jacket, jeans, hand wraps, and boxing boots, and these are the main elements that change color when you select different palettes. There are actually 10 colors here for Ed’s costume 1, which is a continuing trend for the DLC characters after several of the launch fighters didn’t actually get a 10th color for this outfit.
Costume 2 for Ed equips him with proper boxing gloves and a sleeveless workout hoodie and shorts. Both costumes have a variety of different color palettes, including a white and red option, orange and blue, yellow and white, and more.

Ed is available to try out at Capcom Cup X and will be available all week, so we will undoubtedly get more great footage of the new character before he’s released. Ed will officially join the Street Fighter 6 cast as DLC on February 27.
