All Northern Section boys basketball teams announced – Paradise Post

The high school basketball season has come to a conclusion in California, and with All League teams announced, the Northern Section writers have come together in selecting this year’s All Northern Section teams.

The All Northern Section teams are voted on by sports reporters in the Northern Section including Rick Silva from the Red Bluff Daily News, Jeff Larson from the Marysville Appeal-Democrat, Justin Couchot from the Chico Enterprise-Record, and reporters Aaron Williams from Redding and Jennifer Corriea from Colusa.

Pleasant Valley lost in an exciting overtime thriller to Enterprise in the NSCIF D-II final, and the Vikings landed two players on the first team, while Enterprise’s Wes Ramirez (16.2 points per game, 10.2 rebounds per game) represents the Hornets. Jacob Martin (10.4 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game, 1.5 steals per game) and Cam Bussey (12.1 points per game) represent PV, both at forward spots.

Brott averaged 14.9 points per game, 5.3 rebounds per game and 1.5 steals per game for a Panthers team which finished in fourth place in the EAL standings.
