Alejandro Garnacho is enjoying a truly impressive run of form lately.
The 20-year-old scored just after half-time against Brentford to draw the two sides level on the way to Manchester United’s 2-1 win, marking yet another link-up between the winger and Marcus Rashford.
So far this season, Garnacho has grabbed five goals and three assists in 12 games including contributing to four goals against Barnsley in their 7-0 EFL Cup Third Round win.
United’s win over Brentford was their first since the Barnsley thrashing at the end of September, ending their five-game winless run in all competitions.

Whilst Ethan Pinnock opened up the scoring on the brink of half-time, Garnacho got United back into the game moments into the second half, with Rasmus Hojlund going on to score the winner.
Now, Garnacho has spoken out to explain that his link-up with Rashford came straight from the training ground.
Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford link-up once more
In the 47th minute, Marcus Rashford whipped in a pin-point cross to Alejandro Garnacho who hit it perfectly first-time on the volley.
The goal marked United’s comeback which helped them go on to secure the win.
Speaking to MUTV after the game, Garnacho said: “I missed two big chances in the first half, but I came back in the second half with the same mentality, trying to score and win the game, and, finally, I could do it.”
He continued: “I know [Rashford can do this] because we tried it in training this week. I know he has a very good cross and I have to be ready in the back post. When he crossed it, I shot the first time and I scored, so I’m happy.”
This marked the fourth time this season that the pair have link-up to score for United, becoming a formidable partnership on the wings.
