Akwa-Ibom State Governor, Odom Emmanuel has dissolved the Local Government Transition Committees in all the Local Government Councils of Akwa Ibom State on Thursday, 30th June, 2016.
This is in pursuant of the Local Government Administration Amendment Law 2016.
A release signed by the Secretary to the State Government Sir Ettekamba Umoren has directed the Transition Committee Chairmen and members of the Committees to hand over to the Head of Service of their respective Local Government Councils on Thursday, the 1st day of July 2016.
