The recent passing of Akira Toriyama was sudden and unexpected. As the creator of the Dragon Ball series, Toriyama was often called “The Father of Shonen Anime,” having a significant impact on various media such as manga, anime, and even video games. Us fighting game fans would not have a game like Dragon Ball FighterZ without Toriyama.
Catsuka recently highlighted a mural in Peru that was created to pay tribute to Akira Toriyama’s legacy with the Dragon Ball series. Indeed, it’s an absolutely stunning piece of art that has to be seen to be believed.
This mural apparently spans for 110 meters long (about 360 to 361 feet). Additionally, it’s 6 meters high (about 19 to 20 feet).
It’s also been reported that the mural sports 70 characters from Toriyama’s work that includes Shenron, Oolong, Videl, Dabura, Babidi, Master Roshi, Kid Goku, Jiren, Android 8, SS4 Gogeta, Golden Frieza, Beerus, Perfect Cell, Arale, and many more.
Of course, a mural this big couldn’t have been created by just one person is such a short span of time. Catsuka has also reported that more than 45 artists contributed to the massive piece.
