Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom yesterday visited the Presidential Villa, Abuja to thank President Muhammadu Buhari for supporting the state during the challenge of herdsmen invasion.
The governor, who spoke with State House correspondents after meeting Buhari, said:
“It is something that has not gone to this magnitude because it is massive and it was beyond us and even when the President was out of the country, I saw the Vice President and he was communicated and he immediately directed the Army and the Police to move in swiftly and today there are more Army personnel in the state and in particular Agatu. Also, mobile policemen several units have been deployed.”
