AGAIN, Goddy Akpama blasts Ifere Paul on what he tittles; The Capital Lies of Ifere Paul

RE: IFERE PAUL ON OBUDU INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMNET /RENEWAL

Without wasting time I will go straight into the matter.  Ifere Paul, yesterday , you posted  in the social media that it was your write-up that made His Excellency, Professor Ben Ayade, pay attention to the development of Obudu, lie, CAPITAL LIE.

This is what you wrote: “After spending two weeks in Obudu without good roads and light!
“I  wrote about Obudu and its bad infrastructure. Governor Ben Ayade has responded to the recommendation I made for the activation of the urban infrastructure development/renewal, him dey fear you?
You then mentioned me saying,  Goddy Akpama, which of the Ifere Paul lies number is this?”

Ordinarily I would have ignored you, and the post as one of those usual self glorification, and attention seeking stunts, that you pad with lots of lies.

But, for mentioning my name, I will not let the issues you have raised go unchallenged. I, hereby, proceed to debunk the claims you have made, and others that are implied by you.

As a free citizen, i agree you have freedom of movement to any part of Cross River State, as much as you have the right to engage in any legitimate venture.  But, I dare to state that your mission to Obudu, for two weeks, as you claim was for the purpose of doing mischief as you were instructed to do by some  Obudu politicians who are your sponsors, and are openly against the person and administration of His Excellency Professor Governor Ben . Please, if I am wrong, tell me what else you were in Obudu to do that would make you abandone your duty as Interpreter in Aso Rock, for two weeks, Haba!  Maybe, you were on leave, or maybe you were not working there for those 2 weeks you stayed in Obudu,   that is why you had time to come to Obudu to idle away precious two weeks. But for you to stay in Obudu for two weeks; it was a serious duty call.  It is clear that you were doing the bidding of your sponsors because, it is obvious you were not sponsored by Aso Rock to Obudu.

According to you, there was no electrify in Obudu throughout the period you were there, hmmmm. Please, Ifere Paul, can you mention the hotel (s) you lodged for the 2 weeks you were in Obudu that did not have light? If you did not stay in a hotel, it is easy to conclude that you stayed in the house(s) of your Obudu sponsor/pay  masters who think they can become Governor of Cross River State by sponsoring you to insult Governor , and the Office of Governor, them no fit, dreamers.

Now to the electricity issue situation in Obudu. You have created the impression that Governor Ben Ayade caused Obudu to be disconnected from the national grid, and be connected to the Power Plant that was constructed by his administration. Thank God that you Paul  for the first time have unwitting acknowledged that Governor Ayade’s administration has constructed a power plant in Obudu.

Ifere Paul, what powers have the governor to order the disconnection of a town from the national grid? Is the power sector in Nigeria not under the exclusive list? Is PHC a Cross River State owned Electricity Company? Please, it is within the powers of the PHC to connect or disconnect any town from the national grid, based on their business plan. So, please don’t blame Governor Ben Ayade for that. All I can say is that His Excellency, meant well for Obudu, his doing everything possible to restore constant power supply to Obudu. Come to think of it, Gov Ayade made provision for alternative power source for Obudu, but if the people refuse to pay for services, what do you want the Governor to doo? We as a people should have a culture of paying for services rendered, and stop blaming every situation today in Obudu on Ayade and the Ayades.

If anything, the good intention of Governor Ben Ayade was to ensure that Obudu , where he comes from does not continue to suffer months of darkness due to the inability of the PHC to meet the demand of the people , for purpose of providing Obudu/Obanliku LG area steady power supply. Having constructed the power plant which is powered with diesel, is it proper that  Governor Ben Ayade should be supplying free diesel daily for powering of the plant? Shouldn’t the people pay their bills so that PHEDC can run the plant according to the agreement they had with the state government? The idea was to provide alternative  power supply to Obudu between the national grid, and the power plant.
My people did Governor Ayade have a bad intention by building the power plant; was it not borne out of good intention? Time will tell.
Please, Ifere Paul, tell us if the intention was a bad one?

AGAIN, Goddy Akpama blasts Ifere Paul on what he tittles; The Capital Lies of Ifere Paul

Ifere Paul, you also said there were no good roads in Obudu when you visited. But, the pictures you posted shows that you are telling lies. Your pictures do not indict bad spots on the roads. I can recall that under Governor Liyel Imoke, most, if not all, the old roads in Obudu were reconstructed, and new ones tarred. Except you are telling us that barely two years after Governor Liyel Imoke left office , the roads have gone bad. However, from the post you made,  it is clear that you did not snap the picture yourself because you were not in Obudu when the picture were snapped. As usual, you depended on your informants who usually feed you with lies, and wrong information.
So, your post on the road is not reliable because it is based on hear-say.
What I know is that in Cross River State, Urban Development Authorities (in Calabar, Ikom, Ogoja, Yakurr, and Obudu) are not saddled with the mandate/responsibility  of rehabilitating or constructing roads and drainages. So, I wonder where you based your conclusion that the Obudu Urban Development Authority is handling the reconstruction of the road.
Unlike you, I don’t claim to be all knowing, so if I am wrong on this, correct me with the right information. But, I think this claim is not far from your usual lies. I dare say that this is CAPITAL LIE No.21 from you.

AGAIN, Goddy Akpama blasts Ifere Paul on what he tittles; The Capital Lies of Ifere Paul

As usual, Ifere Paul , in your boastful nature, always claiming to know everything that happens in Cross River State, and why they are happening, or why they happened, you claimed that your write-up made the governor to reinvent “infrastructure development/ renewal” in Obudu. You? What a claim! In one breath you also lament and claim that Governor Ben Ayade does not act based on advice, and in another breath you claim that he acted on the Obudu infrastructure based on the recommendation, and advice in your write-up, hahaha!
Ifere Paul, which one do you want me/us to believe? Ifere Paul the CAPITAL LIAR, please tell me/us the one to believe O!!!.

To inform you and your sponsors from Obudu, Governor Ayade believes that development should be taken to all parts of the state, and not Obudu alone where he comes from.  That is why the people of Eastern/Western Boki are happy with him for the road project that is ongoing to link the two areas; that is why the people from Yala to Obanliku are happy that Governor Ben Ayade’s administration has commenced the construction of a modern road to link then with the outside world, that is why Calabar, precisely the   Good Luck Jonathan bypass has become a huge construction site, and many people who are employed there, directly and indirectly are happy with the governor;  Governor Ben Ayade constructed the Garment Factory, that is working, and has employed thousands of workers.

Ifere Paul, whether you like the  Garment Factory or not, whether the Garment factory is perfect or not, it will not be uprooted from Calabar. Tinapa which is struggling to survive, which was constructed by Governor Donald Duke’s administration, has not been  uprooted from Calabar? Has the CICC, which was started by Governor Liyel Imoke’s administration, and completed by Governor Ben Ayade’s administration been uprooted from Calabar, despite the initial challenge of patronage it is facing? As far as those projects are in Cross River State, no matter how long it takes, they will become profitable someday and serve the interest of the people of Cross River State. Let me blow your mind and that of your sponsors across board, that Prof Ben B. Ayade shal remain GOVERNOR OF CROSS RIVER STATE TO THE END OF MAY 29TH 2023.
Am confident He will surprise Cross Riverians,  i assure you.
NA ME TALK AM.
G

So, Ifere Paul, your CAPITAL LIE No.21 has been exposed. But, as I promised, the TWENTY (20) CAPITAL LIES OF IFERE PAUL (PART 2) will be out soon..
