If you’ve watched any Capcom Pro Tour streams these past few years, you’ve almost certainly seen ads for the mobile game Street Fighter: Duel, which was said to be “coming soon” without any actual release in sight.
That’s finally changed now, however, with Crunchyroll Games now giving fans a better idea of when they can try out the Street Fighter mobile RPG with pre-registration pages now open for Android and iOS.
Although they still won’t give a solid release date, Street Fighter: Duel is scheduled to launch sometime in February 2023 in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and select European countries.
At launch, SF Duel will include over 40 characters to unlock with players tasked with building teams of 3 fighters to take on Seth and Shadaloo in an original story mode.
Street Fighter: Duel was first revealed in 2019 from Topjoy and Tencent Games and released exclusively in China back in 2020, so there should be quite a bit of content to go through once the game releases here in the West.
