Managing accounts: Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and tracking incoming and outgoing funds
Processing transactions: Creating and processing invoices, and cross-checking them with payments and expenses
Reconciling accounts: Reconciling accounts with the general ledger, and reconciling bank statements
Preparing reports: Preparing and reviewing ledger balances and monthly accounts
Handling expenses: Tracking organization expenses, and managing petty cash and staff expenses
Communicating with clients: Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments, and responding to customer inquiries
Working with Teams: Workingon overdue payments, and initiating collections for delinquent accounts
Completing tax returns: Completing company tax returns, and preparing and submitting VAT returns and National Insurance contributions
Managing payroll: Managing monthly company payroll
Maintaining systems: Maintaining and monitoring the company's financial systems

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
ACA or ACCA is a MUST have for this role
1-3 years proven experience is same position
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools
Advanced knowledge of financial analysis techniques
Effective communication skills
Integrity and ethical conduct
Organizational and time management skills
Problem-solving abilities
Candidates residing on the island are preferred
