Home Affairs Supermarket is a wholly owned Nigerian Retail Distribution and Merchandizing company registered in Nigeria by the Corporate Affairs Commission with Business Registration Number BN 2041468.
The Business was founded by Mrs Modupe Segun-Omosehin, an erudite entrepreneur with a midas touch. HAS commenced operations on the 1st of March 2008 with main objective of engaging in buying and selling of all household goods and merchandise.Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, and the candidate is a team player who is passionate about retail business. On the job, he or she will:
Update daily sales, stock performance report on
Deposit cash on schedule to financial institutions.
Reconcile all Cashiers sales activities daily.
Keep proper record of all petty cash expenses daily
Prepare financial reports on schedule
Respond to POS declined issues and mails from the bank.
Preparation of supporting documents for final accounts.
Do a cross check of daily sales book.
Prepare Vendors payment schedule.
Attend to suppliers on Cheque related issues
Support Payroll Administration.
Payoff supplier’s cheque on the system as at when due.
Disburse petty cash and prepares the schedule of weekly disbursement report.
File all financial documents relating to the Store.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration or related field
Experience in retail sales is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Accounting Software.
