Job Description:
- Basecode seeks an ambitious and proactive Account Executive to drive new business acquisition and contribute to our continued growth in the IT solutions space. This role is ideal for a sales hunter who thrives on the challenge of sourcing, pursuing, and closing new accounts. You will play a key role in expanding our reach in Lagos, Nigeria, and beyond by targeting businesses needing our ERP, CRM, and service desk solutions. If you’re passionate about selling solutions that help companies streamline their operations and have a track record of driving revenue, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
- We are looking for a results-oriented individual with experience selling IT services and solutions, especially in ERP and CRM systems like Zoho, Salesforce, and RingCentral. You will work closely with our leadership team to execute sales strategies, manage the full sales cycle, and exceed your targets.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on companies in need of IT solutions for ERP, CRM, inventory, and HR management. Leverage your network, cold outreach, and sales tools to generate high-quality leads in Lagos and across Nigeria.
Qualify Prospects:
- Engage potential clients through discovery meetings to understand their pain points, operational challenges, and business goals. Determine how Basecode’s solutions can address their specific needs and qualify leads for further engagement.
Product Demos and Presentations:
- Lead tailored product demonstrations that showcase the value of Basecode’s solutions, focusing on how our ERP, CRM, and service desk offerings can streamline business processes. Communicate technical and business benefits clearly to key decision-makers.
Close New Business:
- Drive the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure. Confidently navigates complex sales discussions, presenting solutions that align with client objectives and finalizing agreements that meet revenue targets.
Achieve Sales Quotas:
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Track your performance and adjust strategies as needed to maximize success in closing new accounts.
Collaborate with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the technical and customer success teams to ensure that client expectations are met during the implementation phase. Share market insights with the leadership team to inform future offerings and product development.
Pipeline Management:
- Keep a well-organized and up-to-date sales pipeline using our CRM system. Monitor all interactions, follow-ups, and next steps to ensure that leads are being appropriately nurtured and converted into sales.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities in the IT services space. Use this knowledge to craft compelling pitches and position Basecode as a leader in the industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the IT services or software solutions industry.
- A strong understanding of ERP, CRM, and service desk systems like Zoho, Salesforce, and RingCentral.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing a full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated and driven by results, with a strong desire to exceed targets.
- Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
