Marcus Rashford is set to miss another game for Manchester United this weekend.
Manager Rubin Amorim has confirmed that the United attacker will be missing for the clash with Liverpool.
With Liverpool flying high and sitting top of the English Premier League table, this would typically be an ideal game for someone with the talent at Marcus Rashford.
Even though the United manager has insisted it’s because of illness, it’s highly unlikely that the England attacker would have figured anyway.
Marcus Rashford has been missing from the pitch ever since he was dropped from the squad for the Manchester derby.
All fingers point towards a potential exit for the club.
This is despite Marcus Rashford rejecting a move to Saudi Arabia.
The feeling is that Rashford still wants to play at the highest level rather than move to Saudi.
He’s been linked recently with a move to Serie A in the shape of Napoli.
With a potential swap deal with Victor Osimhen seemingly suiting all parties, it presents an intriguing proposition.
However, there are now fresh links for Marcus Rashford to Italy but with another club entirely.
Italian journalist Matteo Moretto, writing for Relevo, has reported that Manchester United have held talks with AC Milan about the transfer of Marcus Rashford.
According to Moretto, the discussions have centred around a loan deal with the option to buy.
The Old Trafford side are also willing to contribute towards some of the player’s sizeable wages.
Despite the conversations taking place in recent days, it is not believed that a deal is close.
Moretto states that it’s just a consideration right now and nothing more than that.
The journalist states that it’s United who are pushing for a deal to get Rashford out of the club and there are a queue of clubs for the England international.
While Barcelona are also mentioned, it’s done so in a method to rule them out of the running.
Matteo Moretto claims that it’s an evolving situation on the Marcus Rashford situation and it something to keep an eye on for the rest of the transfer window.
