Sofyan Amrabat’s highly awaited move has not gone according to plan and many would plainly classify it as a failed move.

Amrabat has failed to make any kind of considerable impact in United’s ranks granted he sometimes had to deputize at left back on account of an injury riddled squad.

The 27 year old has not stood out or been a figure of note in an otherwise extremely chaotic ahd hellish season at Old Trafford.

Consequently, it is expected Manchester United will not press or pursue a permanent deal for Amrabat and he should be going back to Fiorentina at the end of the season.

As footballitalia report, Fiorentina have no intention of keeping him in Florence and they will immediately be seeking to offload him once he goes back go Italy.

The season that has been in Manchester, both collectively and individually has seen his stock dramatically fall compared to the 2022 World Cup when he put the world on notice.

Page 23 of today’s Tuttosport gives some hope to Fiorentina and Amrabat as they report Italian giants Ac Milan have began testing the waters over a possible move for the Moroccan.

According to the report, The Rossoneri have began contacting his new representatives SEG to explore a possible move this coming summer.

It is reported the club’s directors will over the next couple of weeks deliberate on the decision as well as the particulars for a potential deal.

Amrabat could leave Fiorentina for around €15-18m.
