The natives of Abini in Biase LGA of CRS have raised concerned over the epileptic power supply and unhygienic water in their community.
The residents says the situation have threatened the life of the people in the community as hoodlums are making use of the opportunity to carry out criminal activities in the LGA.
One of the indigene in the community lamented over the issue. He says:
“it’s about two months now that there’s been no electricity and the Electric Power Authority don’t care about it.
“He added, they’ve not been coming to the community to check whether there’s light or not. We want them to come and check the situation so they can provide solution to the off-power problem whether it’s the fault of transformers or it’s the management. Because we’re in need of light now”.
The community appeals to the state government and the parastatals involved to come to their aid.
We can recalled that the state government recently embarked on water project in Ikom LGA to ensure that residents of the area have access to clean water.
