Abia State Police Command has dismissed Inspector Kufere Moses for unethical conduct, reinforcing its stance on professionalism and discipline within the force.
According to a statement issued by the command’s spokesperson, DSP Maureen Chinaka, Inspector Moses, formerly attached to Mopol 55 PMF Aba and serving as a UBA Bank Guard in Aba, was officially dismissed on February 21, 2025. Following his dismissal, he was de-kitted, and all police accouterments were retrieved.
The disciplinary action was taken after an internal review found him guilty of discreditable conduct and violations of police discipline.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Danladi Isa, reiterated the command’s commitment to upholding integrity and eliminating bad elements within the force.
He assured the public that the Abia Police Command remains dedicated to the Inspector General of Police’s vision of a professional, service-oriented, and law-abiding police force.
“The public is hereby notified that AP/NO 338736 Inspector Kufere Moses, formerly serving at Mopol 55 PMF Aba and attached to UBA Bank Guard in Aba, Abia State has been dismissed from the Nigeria Police Force, effective 21st February 2025. He has also been de-kitted, and all police accouterments have been retrieved from him.
“This action follows administrative disciplinary measures taken against him by the command for discreditable Conduct and offenses against discipline.
“The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, reaffirms the Command’s zero tolerance for unprofessional conduct. He assures the public that the Command will not condone the activities of bad elements within the force. Under his leadership, the Command remains committed to the Inspector General of Police’s vision of ensuring a professionally competent, service-driven, rule-of-law-compliant and people-friendly police force.
