Abia governor appoints comedian, Kingsley Ogbonna as adviser on Arts and Tourism

Comedian and actor, Kingsley Ogbonna, popularly known as Dauda, has been appointed Senior Special Adviser on Arts and Tourism to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, reports News24.

Dauda, a Mass Communication graduate of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State, hails from Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

Speaking after a meeting with Governor Ikpeazu at the Abia State Governor’s Lodge in Aba, the Comic-Actor said his appointment is a call to service.

“I thank the Governor for the opportunity to serve and I promise to mobilize and galvanize my brothers and sisters in the entertainment industry to return Aba and Abia in general to its pride of place as far as tourism and arts are concerned.” He said.
