A Rebrand Driven by Its Mission – The US Times

The New Name is Poised to Better Reflect the Brand’s Commitment to Empowering Farmers and Building Sustainable Communities through Ethical Practices That Restores Dignity.

St. Paul, MN., (September, 2024) — Dignity Coconuts, a social enterprise dedicated to fighting human trafficking through ethical coconut oil production, has been undergoing a significant rebrand since the start of September. Beginning in January 2025, the company will transition to the name Dignity Made. This name change reflects the company’s expansion beyond coconut oil and its deep-rooted mission of promoting dignity and ethical practices in every aspect of its business.

The rebrand to Dignity Made is designed to communicate the company’s broader focus and ongoing commitment to restoring dignity in vulnerable communities. For years, Dignity Coconuts has been a champion for social change, providing fair employment opportunities for farmers in the Philippines who are at risk of exploitation. Through this rebrand, Dignity Coconuts will emphasize that dignity isn’t an afterthought, but a driving force behind every product and every business decision.

The name Dignity Made highlights the company’s goal of creating products with purpose and integrity. Each product sold continues to support critical efforts in providing life-changing jobs and resources to families in need. Customers who choose their products will be actively participating in a movement that promotes sustainable and ethical sourcing while helping to combat human trafficking and poverty. As Dignity Coconuts expands into new product lines under the Dignity Made name, the commitment to high-quality, non-toxic, and ethically produced goods remains a core focus.

Dignity Made’s mission revolves around addressing the root causes of human trafficking by offering fair, safe employment in at-risk regions. The company works closely with farmers in the Philippines to ensure fair trade practices and sustainable economic opportunities. Since its inception, Dignity Coconuts has impacted the lives of over 158 farmer families, providing them with a pathway out of poverty and generational debt. Additionally, over 100 jobs have been created in communities vulnerable to trafficking, and more than 30 villages now have access to clean water, healthcare, and educational resources, directly benefiting over 2,000 families.

The shift to Dignity Made aims to strengthen the company’s core values of quality, transparency, and sustainability. These values will remain unchanged as the company continues to challenge unethical practices in the coconut and skincare industries, while offering products that are not only better for consumers but also better for the people who produce them and the planet.

The rebrand also sets the stage for the company’s future growth. Dignity Made has ambitious plans to expand its product offerings and increase its social impact, continuing to use business as a vehicle for meaningful change. The official launch of the Dignity Made brand will occur in January 2025, with new products and holiday promotions accompanying the rollout.

As Dignity Coconuts enters this new chapter, the company remains focused on its founding mission: to create a positive global impact through sustainable business practices that promote dignity and transform communities.
