A few days ago, centredevils covered that Bruno Fernandes was on the Saudi League’s radar and a new report from ESPN confirms this and even names Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr as the top suitors.

According to the report, the Saudi club are looking to bolster their squad with a centre-back and an attacking midfielder, as well as a back-up goalkeeper and a young striker.

The report goes ahead to stipulate that a source tells them Al Nassr believe Bruno would be a perfect fit for that attacking midfield role.

The Saudi club understands United are absolutely desperate to keep Bruno but also appreciate that a sizeable enough offer may be enough to tempt The Red Devils into selling.

Manchester United are very close to breaking FFP regulations which means they are walking a tight line and may need to make some sales before they can complete or sanction any major signings.

The fact that there will be no Champions League football at Old Trafford compounds the pressure of lack of free spending luxury.

United’s summer clear out has already began with Varane already on his way out and Martial next on the line although it is nigh on improbable that Bruno will leave.

He has been one of the only beacons of light in an otherwise dark dark season and suffice to say he is the only post-Fergie signing that has worked out.

He is on contract with United until at least 2026.
