A.B.A sure does like to jealously insult the cast of Guilty Gear Strive

After being away for quite some time, A.B.A has finally returned as the latest DLC character for Guilty Gear Strive, but it looks like she still has some serious issues to work on.

Her jealous nature can definitely get the best of the homunculus, especially when it comes to interacting with other members of the cast.

In most of her pre-match introductions, A.B.A seems insecure that the opponent is going to take Paracelsus away from her, so she lashes out with insults.

If another woman like May or I-No gets to close to her demon axe key husband, she’ll call them “Brazen beast. All seduction, no substance” while guys like Anji and Johnny are called a “brute in sheep’s clothing.”

Unfortunately, she doesn’t appear to have many character-specific interactions except for being terrified of Elphelt and her marriage certificate.

A.B.A also has a pretty funny line after defeating Bedman? about how her and Paracelsus don’t need a bed.

She’s ultimately harshest on herself, however, calling saying of her mirror match for “Dull, delusional, senseless woman… Wallowing in dependence…” and “Wicked, treacherous, worthless woman… Empty imitation…”

You can see these interactions below and more thanks to Gloomistic.

Spoilers ahead for her arcade mode story in Strive.

For her actual character development, Testament helps A.B.A come to terms that her love is a toxic obsession that is quite literally causing Paracelsus to fall apart.

She doesn’t want to at first, but tries to accept that she should let her husband go.

Paracelsus doesn’t want to leave, however, and also accepts responsibility for how their relationship is.

Check out the story scenes below if you don’t care to do so in the game itself.
