Purpose
- As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior Manager C&I Engineering Secunda and his team in all aspects of ensuring that engineering and service requirements are met across all sites so that customers identify Proconics as a trusted and critical partner to their business. The major responsibilities of this position are to deliver Industrial Information Technology discipline deliverables and ensure that the intent is being carried through the design, interface and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Provide technical input for IIT/network equipment / service deployment during the project execution
- Deliver quality IIT Engineering services to clients and other disciplines
- Accurate reporting and equipment management
- Interface with plant technical and operations personnel
- Translate IIT/network integration requirements across disciplines during the design phase
- Work closely with other disciplines and functions to support and achieve the goals of the company
Qualifications/Experience
- To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- B Eng/BSc Electronic / Computer degree
- 5-10 years’ experience (7-8 years for N3 / Instrumentation trade qualification) as IIT
- Engineer/Technician in the industry with proven track record in systems and network design,
- integration and support.
- Computer literacy with MS Office , MS Project, MS Visio and similar ERP system
- Basic knowledge of DCS/ESD ( Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson) & PLC (Siemens, Rockwell,
- Schneider ) systems
- Knowledge of safety & protection systems
- Knowledge of instrumentation loop design.
- Knowledge of HMI & SCADA systems
- Knowledge of fieldbus communication systems (Profibus, Modbus etc.)
- Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet and higher-level communication protocols like OPC
Knowledge of the following standards:
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
- NIST SP 800-82
- ISA/IEC 62443
- Experience / certification in one or more of the following fields will be an advantage
- Own transport with a valid driver’s license
- MCSE
- MCS
- OEM (Siemens, AVEVA, Schneider, Rockwell, OSIsoft, HONEYWELL PI etc.) product certification
