We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team, a leading crypto trading company.
The primary function of this role will be to confirm and verify cryptocurrency transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and a keen interest in the cryptocurrency market.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Verification: Review and confirm cryptocurrency transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Data Entry: Accurately enter transaction details into accounting systems and maintain organized financial records.
Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling transaction records with blockchain data and internal financial systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on transaction activity, providing insights to senior accountants and management.
Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding transaction processes.
Compliance Monitoring: Stay updated on accounting regulations and compliance requirements relevant to cryptocurrency transactions.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations and compliance, to ensure cohesive transaction processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
Basic understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
