Evo 2024 and CEO 2024 champion reveals his early day 1 impressions of Terry Bogard in Street Fighter 6

Terry Bogard and a new patch for Street Fighter 6 were released just yesterday. As it turns out, FLY|Punk, the Evo 2024 and CEO 2024 champion, recently released his day 1 impressions of Terry in Street Fighter 6.

Of course, to really understand Terry, Punk opted to use the character in ranked sets in his latest video. Punk ended up performing very well against other Master ranked players while attempting to maintain an impartial view of the fighter’s attributes and competitive capabilities.

Overall, Punk describes The Legendary Wolf as being a very fun character. He also notes that he has a lot of different combo routes, which makes it difficult to remember every option the character has upon opening up opponents.

However, Punk is not yet convinced of South Town Hero being a top tier candidate. As of right now, Punk feels as though the SNK guest character is a potential mid tier.

With one of his latest Tweets, Punk notes that the character isn’t armed with the right sort of buttons that a top tier would want for whiff punishing. Additionally, he says that Terry’s fireball feels very awkward.

During the video, he also states that the SNK rep could potentially struggle against fireball users. This seems to support what Punk has said about the combatant’s awkward fireball.

Of course, it’s only been a single day since Terry was made available. As it turns out, Punk intends to try using the character during a tournament run to truly get a feel for him.

Check out Punk’s day 1 impressions (which are likely to change one way or another somewhere down the line) below:
