CNN’s KFILE found that Mark Robinson, the Republican nominee for governor of North Carolina, made a series of inflammatory comments on a pornography website’s message board. Robinson referred to himself as a “black NAZI!” and expressed support for reinstating slavery. Robinson denies making the remarks and they predate his entry into politics. Before the comments were unearthed, former President Donald Trump praised Robinson and called him “Martin Luther King on steroids.”
