Vegito and Gogeta added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as overpowered characters thanks to mods

Vegito and Gogeta have been playable characters in Dragon Ball FighterZ for years at this point. Of course, we’ll likely never see these sort of characters ever entering the fray officially in Super Smash Bros. considering Masahiro Sakurai’s comments about Goku.

Through modding, however, it’s actually possible to insert Goku and Vegeta into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. However, it seems that other modders have decided to take things further by adding the fusions of these two fighters, Gogeta and Vegito, to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate instead.

Needless to say, the Beefy Smash Doods have released a couple of videos covering Gogeta and Vegito. It should be noted that the Vegito mod, by the time the video was uploaded, appeared to be more complete than the Gogeta mod.

As one might expect, Vegito has moves such as the Spirit Excalibur, which is used for a variety of his attacks such as his down aerial, forward smash, and even his up tilt. Gogeta gets access to the Kamehameha Wave, but can instead just tap the button to perform the Bluff Kamehameha.

True to the lore of these characters, both Vegito and Gogeta look to be extremely overpowered compared to the rest of the official roster. There’s no doubt that these combatants would completely break the game if they were added.

Regardless, the Beefy Smash Doods end up putting both fighters through their paces. After looking over each character’s moveset, they actually play some matches to determine just how good they truly are.
