Purpose of the Job:
We are seeking a strategic business leader, the Head of IS&T will leverage information technology to support the companys overall strategy, turning IT into a competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
ICT Strategy and Policy:
- Review and develop the companys ICT strategy to align with business goals.
Management/Coordination:
- Lead and coordinate information systems to ensure their effective use across the company.
Business Process Improvement:
- Optimize and automate internal business processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Business Intelligence and Analytics:
- Manage dashboard systems to collect, analyze, and display information for informed decision-making.
Recruitment:
- Oversee the recruitment of ICT professionals, develop staff, and manage exits to prevent disruptions.
ICT Operations and Governance:
- Establish IT organization principles and ensure high-performance standards.
Program Management:
- Coordinate the development and implementation of IT systems across the company.
Educational Qualifications:
- BSc in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related technology field.
- An MBA or a business degree is a plus.
- Strong background in Software Development and System Architectural design.
- Experience as a CIO or Deputy CIO, ideally within the IT/Telecom industry.
Requirements:
- 10-12 years of relevant experience, with at least some in a CIO or equivalent role.
- Proven track record in business development is an added advantage.
- Ability to drive engagement, accountability, and vision within the IT department.
