It’s been about three months already since Terry Bogard was first unveiled alongside Mai Shiranui, M. Bison and Elena as the second season of DLC for Street Fighter 6, and the wild wolf is almost here.
Capcom just released the official concept art for Terry’s Outfit 1 and 2 for Street Fighter 6 plus some design comments from the game’s Director.
Along with the new pieces of art, Director Takayuki Nakayama shared a few design comments about what went into bringing Terry to life in SF6.
Terry’s concept art is a bit different than what we usually see out of the DLC characters thus far considering they show a headshot portrait for both of his costumes along with some of the smaller details.
This may also be the first time we’ve gotten a look at Terry’s stylized name logo, which is reminiscent of Fatal Fury’s logo with a wolf wrapped around it in a very fitting fashion.
It is also cool to see that “Mark of the Wolves, Original Vintage” patch with the lot listed as SNK1991 when Fatal Fury first came out that was easy to overlook on his actual character model.
If you go back and look at Terry’s recent gameplay trailer, you can see the wolf patch on the back of his pants at a few points.
“We consulted with SNK for the patch design and recreated Terry’s traditional outfit, which highlights his slender, long legs and sturdy upper body,” said Nakayama in the post.
“Outfit 2 is from Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. We hope you notice all the details!”
You can check out both pieces of concept art for Terry’s original Fatal Fury design as well as his Outfit 2 pulling from Garou: Mark of the Wolves and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves below.
