Sometimes it’s better to just spend that bar of super meter in Street Fighter 6 and guarantee your round win… Why, you ask?
Well, if you happen to find yourself going up against one of the best A.K.I. players in the world, Broski, and you dare to leave him alive with just a sliver of health left, well… Let’s just say it ain’t over until it’s over.
The prominent A.K.I. player / content creator uploaded an amazing Street Fighter 6 clip to Twitter this week that started out as a nice highlight for his opponent — an Akuma player Broski encountered in ranked mode.
This highlight begins with the Akuma player pulling off an impressive play against Broski’s A.K.I. that involved perfect parrying the first hit of an Overdrive fireball and using Drive Impact to blow through the second hit. Broski, not expecting this, went for a regular fireball right after and ended up getting hit with the big Drive Impact, and being in the corner with only about 35% health left and the Akuma player having two bars of super meter meant a guaranteed round win here.
In an attempt to save resources, though, the Akuma opts not to spend any super which results in Broski hanging on with just a tiny bit of health left. Akuma, on the other hand, had a full health bar.
With a now burned out Akuma trying to close things out, Broski uses Drive Reversal to escape the oki situation, and then, well… “Your highlight clip is now my highlight clip,” wrote the A.K.I. player in the caption accompanying the clip.
Check out what is now a highlight for Broski in the clip below.
